Grade 10 Grammar Lesson 5 Present perfect and past simple (3)

  •  We may use since or for with the present perfect to talk about something that started at some point in the past and continues until the present time.
  •  We use since with the point where the action began.
  •  We use for with the period of time covered so far.
  •  We may also use a since clause (past simple) to represent the point of time.
  •  We use the present perfect with ever and never to emphasis the whole period of time up to the present.
