We also use the simple present tense to talk about actions done as a habit or a routine.

We may use adverbs of frequency with simple present tense.

Always, often, usually, sometimes, rarely and never come before the main verb, but only after the be verb.

Expressions like every day, every week, once a day, twice a month come at the end or at the beginning of the sentence.
