We also use short forms to agree or disagree with the remarks somebody makes. Agreement with positive remarks is made with yes/ so/ of course/ sure + pronoun + auxiliary.

Agreement with negative remarks is made with Yes + pronoun + auxiliary + n’t.

Disagreement to a remark is usually made by using but or yes/no with the opposite of the statement.
