Grade 7 Grammar Lesson 14 Synthesis of sentences

We can combine two simple sentences into a single complex sentence.

We know that a complex sentence consists of a main clause and a subordinate clause. Therefore, we retain one sentence as the main clause while the other sentence is converted into a subordinate clause by using appropriate sub-ordinate conjunctions.
