Grade 7 Grammar Lesson 6 The passive voice

Basically, we use the passive voice when we mention the bearer of the action as the subject.

The passive voice is used:

  1. When the doer of the action is unknown.

  2. When the doer of the action is understood by context.

  3. When the action itself is more important than the doer.
