Grade 8 Grammar Lesson 17 Time clauses (future)
Is the sentence ‘I will do my homework when I will get home from school’ correct or incorrect?
Can we also use the present perfect tense with clauses?
We may use a clause to talk about the future. Though it indicates a future time, we do not use the simple future in the clause.
The same thing happens with a future clause beginning in if, while, before, after, as soon as and until (or till).
We can also use the present perfect tense with when/ after/ until/ as soon as, but there is a difference in meaning.
