  • When somebody’s statement is a universal truth or is true upto the time of speaking, we don’t change the tense whether the reporting verb is present or past.
  • We report Imperative sentence using told/asked + to or not to..
  • Some sentences can be reported using reporting verbs like offered, suggested, advised, ordered, , cautioned, warned, requested etc looking at the nature of the meaning.
