Structure:

• subject + be + going to + base form of the verb… .

We use be going to to say that we know something is certain to happen because of the situation now.

We use past form of be + going to to mean that we intended to do something but didn’t do it.

We use past be + going to form to say that we intend to do something; it’s already decided.
