Grade 5 Grammar Lesson 13 Questions

When a verb is made of two parts (auxiliary or modal + main verb) then we usually make a question by putting the auxiliary or modal before the subject. Such a question is called a yes/no question.

When the verb is in the simple present, the auxiliary is do or does.

When the verb is in the simple past, the auxiliary is did.
