We use the present perfect tense for:

1. Completed actions
2. An action that happened in the past but has a result in the present

   The present perfect is the present form of have + past participle.

   I/ you/ we/ they/ plural – have

   he/ she/ it/ singular – has

   The verbs be and have can also be in the present perfect tense.
