A sentence that asks something is called an interrogative sentence.

An assertive sentence is a sentence that sasserts or states a fact.

An exclamatory sentence is a sentence that shows the speaker feels strongly about something.

An imperative sentence is one that tells someone to do or not to do something. It may be a command, an order or a request.
