Grade 7 Grammar Lesson 10 Modals

We use can, could or may to ask permission.

Can is informal, could is more polite than can; may is used in formal situations.

To refuse permission, we use can’t or may not (but not couldn’t).

Sometimes it is possible to use mustn’t to deny permission.Grade 7 Grammar Lesson 10 Modals (1)
