How can we combine two sentences into one?
We can combine two simple sentences into a single simple sentence.
We know that a simple sentence contains only one finite verb. Therefore, when we combine two simple sentences into a single simple sentence, the finite verbs in one sentence change into non-finites, which may be participles or infinitives.
